Enjoying the site?

The Boxall Profile is a tool used to assess the social, emotional, and mental health development of children and young people to positiviely impact learning, behaviour, attendance and wellbeing. It helps educators identify emerging student needs which might otherwise be difficult to identify, set achievable targets, and track student progress over time. The tool helps school staff to ensure that all pupils receive the necessary support to engage fully with their learning.

Educator Appraisal
The Boxall profile provides a holistic assessment of a child's emotional and behavioural development, which allows you to tailor interventions to specific needs. However, there could be a scoring bias because the test is slightly objective. It's also a time consuming and expensive resource to set up in schools.

Evidence Rating
There are multiple independent trials with large samples of students from multiple different school settings and locations which show that the Boxall Profiling tool is implementable in schools and has good internal consistency and concurrent validity.
