So how does this work?

For each resource, you will see two scores:

  1. The Evidence Rating
  2. The Educator Score

Educator Appraisal

To see how teachers find using a resource in real classrooms, there are video evaluations from other teachers sharing their honest opinions. These evaluations also include a score out of 10, based on how accessible, easy to use, and adaptable education. You can find out more by clicking here. the resource is.

As well as this score, each resource is evaluated by a teacher 1 Star with a short summary video (approx 2 mins) including:

  • What they liked/didn’t like about the resource
  • How easy would it be to set up?
  • Who would this resource be useful for?
  • Is this realistic for a mainstream school?
  • Is there anything else they think you should know?

Evidence Rating

Each resource on IN-hub is rated out of 5 stars based on how strong the research is behind it. These ratings are given by a researcher with a background in neurodivergence and education. You can find out more by clicking here.

Based on theories in education, this resource should work in a certain way to achieve the desired outcome. However, it hasn't been studied in practice.

Observations or initial data (often gathered during development) suggest that the ideas behind the resource could lead to the desired outcome. No formal trials or testing have been conducted on this resource.

Studies with a reasonable amount of participants show that this resource works to achieve the desired outcome. Studies are well-designed to ensure accurate results.
