Comic Strip Conversations is a book which combines stick-figure illustrations with "conversation symbols" to illustrate what people say and think during conversations. This reinforces the concept that others have independent thought and can help children to recognise that while some people say one thing, they may mean another. This book is designed to help autistic children to communicate their emotions and develop conversation skills.

Educator Appraisal
IN-Hub teacher evaluation Grace Dallimore gives her evaluation of Comic Strip Conversations, by Carol Gray. Here is a summary of what Grace thinks: “The resource is for children with who struggle socially. I liked that the resource is engaging and colourful as well as complex ideas broken down. I didn't like that it's quite small, that it was resource intensive and has a limited scope.”
