Educator Appraisal
Proloquo2Go uses similar graphics and symbols to those you'd expect to see in a class setting, so it would be easy to integrate. It provides a wonderful opportunity for children to communicate and find their voice. There are some free elements if the paid version is not accessible, although this resource does seem worth the money for the benefits it could provide for children. Some people may find this resource overwhelming, so it could be quite time intensive to set up and get used to.

Evidence Rating
Evidence suggests a strong theoretical underpinning of the Proloquo2Go app and provides some evidence that the app is acceptable to pupils and may provide some improvements in ability to communicate. However, the evidence relies on small case studies which do not always make use of appropriate pre- post-measures and are limited in generalisability.
